For the last several years, we’ve held our annual Eat Local Month campaign throughout the month of April, celebrating all the many easy and fun ways to support our local food system. Last year’s campaign (2020) was canceled along with everything else, but we’re bringing it back and can’t wait to show our love and appreciation to the growers, fishers, chefs, bakers, brewers, producers and employees who make our food scene here so delicious and vibrant. No one stopped eating during the pandemic, and these rock stars never stopped working to feed us — no matter what it took. Talk about being Essential!
We’re proud to announce that we’ll also be extending this year’s campaign across two months instead of one, and pushing it back in time to better align with the more active growing season across the region. We hope you’ll join us in May-June as we help you engage with what’s ripe and in season here – and introduce you to some of the people behind the ingredients and the skilled preparation of our local foods.
